Travelling Kitchen is delighted to be a partner in the Meadows to Meaders project, working with the local community to explore the history of Southmead and its creation in the 1930s. Travelling Kitchen will be at the launch on Sunday the 25th of September 2016 from 10am to 4pm. Find us opposite Fonthill primary where we'll be sharing some tastes of the 1930s. We'll be collecting food stories from Southmead residents. We'd love to hear what memories people have of family meals in this period, where people got their food from in Southmead and what was the impact on their lives of new kitchen appliances.
